There is around 2.6 million dollars that has gone as salary into the pockets of former deputy Juan Guaidó so far in 2021, according to media and right-wing spokespersons, based on documents emanating from organizations that recognize the alleged and phantom “interim government” of Venezuela.

From the new revelation opposition economist Francisco Rodríguez published in social networks data corresponding to the report of the board of directors of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) appointed by the self-proclaimed Guaidó; that lays out the distribution of financing that Guaido has conducted.

Journalist John McEvoy, from the British newspaper The Canary, also disclosed the link to the web portal of the ad hoc Administrative Board. There, money belonging to the Venezuelan people, which is being kept under the control of the U.S. Federal Reserve, through OFAC, is handled illegally.

“According to official documents, Juan Guaidó has paid himself $1,901,100 from funds that were originally looted from the Venezuelan State. And a total of approximately $2.6 million has been paid to the fake presidency this year,” McEvoy wrote.

Distribution of the loot

On top of this personal grand larceny the BCV page shows the total amount stolen by the group led by Juan Guaidó, all of which is in complicity with the U.S. government, totaling nearly $122 million.

In addition to the money they deposited, with the consent of the US’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), to the account of the alleged interim president, they also assigned the amount of $3,587,800 million to the pretend chancellery headed by Julio Borges. It should be remembered that OFAC usually is engaged as and imperial watchdog agency sniffing out violations of sanctions and fining financial institutions engaged in doing business transactions with countries like Cuba, Iran, Venezuela and many others.

Likewise, the illegal BCV reflects a disbursement of $4,575,465 for the National Assembly elected in 2015. It should be recalled that this period expired in 2020 with the election of a new Parliament. However Guaidó’s group of gangsters insists on keeping that body “active” with no justification or legality to justify various maneuvers.

The distribution of money has been continuously happening since July 29, 2020, as reflected in the report and includes various entities created illegally. It also justifies those disbursements under concepts such as payment of salaries to deputies of the now extinct National Assembly; the alleged bonus that never arrived to health workers, humanitarian attention and payment to lawyers to “defend” and manage the money they stole from the state.
