Venezuelan men and women have expressed once again through our latest  elections on November 21, the strong determination to preserve the stability and peace of the country; a democratic exercise with which we also strengthen the participating and protagonist process we have been building since 22 years ago for the benefit of all, and with which we also respond forcefully to the permanent imperial aggression to which the nation is subjected, with the complicity of stateless sectors of the extremist right wing.

That is the key of the important victory (the 27th in 29 occasions) obtained by the revolutionary forces in the recent elections, the second to be organized in Venezuela during the terrible pandemic of Covid-19; elections whose results show the strength of Chavismo in the political, social and spiritual areas, at the national level.

The Bolivarian Revolution won 19 of the 23 Governorships that were in contention, meanwhile, the decision of the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, (TSJ) the elections in the State of Barinas will be repeated in January 2022. In addition, we won in 21 of the 24 capitals of the federal states of the country (88% of them); including the city of Caracas, capital of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, where the beloved comrade Carmen Meléndez was elected.

Likewise, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the other organizations that make up the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar won 212 of the 335 mayoralties of the nation.

Along with this convincing demonstration of authentic peaceful and democratic vocation given to the world, the Venezuelan people showed their rejection to those who during all these years have tried to “set fire” to the country by means of violence, in their eagerness to try to put an end to the project of broad transformations that has been taking place in Venezuela since 1999, when Commander Hugo Chávez assumed the Presidency of the Republic for the first time.

Venezuelan men and women decided to punish with their vote that extremist, fascist, submissive and unpatriotic opposition that has tried everything to achieve the aforementioned goal: oil and parliamentary sabotage, violent street actions, assassinations against the main civilian and military authorities of the nation, paramilitary incursions directed from the United States and even a military invasion disguised as “humanitarian aid” from Colombian territory.

We also defeated those who from the extremist right wing have shamelessly participated in the stealing of our resources and assets abroad, and those who have favored the adoption of criminal coercive and unilateral measures that affect all the country, what have forced the Bolivarian Government to make a great effort to acquire, among other things, the food and medicines required for the care of our people.

Once again, we have shown them that they have not been able to, nor will they be able to, and that they will have to continue to face the strong determination of the revolutionaries, Bolivarian and Chavistas men and women, to defend the legacy of freedom and sovereignty of the Eternal Commander, in spite of blackmail and Yankee pressure.

The people have once again endorsed the candidates of the revolution, who, in the exercise of the responsibilities they will have to perform in the positions for which they were elected, they must to work tirelessly for the welfare of Venezuelans, making the government programs built in the heat of the electoral contest a reality and change everything that needs to be changed, within the strategy of restructuring and national revitalization process.

Today, the proposal of our Eternal Commander to apply the 3Rs squared, both in political management as well as in government management, is still fully valid; making it necessary to review, rectify and relaunch, to repolarize, repoliticize and reunify, as part of the process of consolidation of the revolutionary majority in the country and the transit to the point of no return to which the historical leader of the Bolivarian Revolution permanently referred to.

It is up to us to continue clearing this formula proposed by Commander Chávez and, in this new stage of the Bolivarian Revolution that is opening its way in the country after last Sunday’s elections; to advance with greater political efficiency and revolutionary quality, in the defense of the social conquests of the Venezuelan People and in the daily battle to definitively defeat the criminal economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed on the nation.

It is necessary, appealing to the deepest self-criticism and with full loyalty to our revolutionary process and its leadership, to promote the necessary changes to advance, always together with the People, obeying them, in the path of socialist construction bequeathed to us by Commander Hugo Chávez; with whom we continue insisting on the need to continue battling against corruption, reformism, bureaucratism and dogmatism; in the understanding that our “revolution must cling to the poor, to the neediest, to their drama, to their pain, to their love and to their hope”, without “letting ourselves be kidnapped by the comforts… of bourgeois life” and being “implacable within ourselves, because our responsibility is very great. We cannot fail history and the hope of a People”.

Therefore, the elections of November 21 commits us even more to the People who remain faithful to the legacy of the historic leader of the Bolivarian Revolution; a People who continue demanding from their leaders, the confluence of our greatest efforts to preserve the peace and stability of the country, and to continue demonstrating to the world the impetus of a nation willing to do everything to keep its dignity and independence; to advance on the path towards the consolidation of Bolivarian Socialism, as the only option against savage capitalism.

Today, unity, revolutionary conscience and passion for the homeland continue to be key to triumph in the battles that we Venezuelans will surely have to continue fighting; battles that we will face, as we have done so far, carrying the backpack of the dreams of Commander Chávez on our shoulders, in the face of those who seek to stop the victorious march of the Bolivarian Revolution.

This is a task that involves all of us, and we must find in the newly elected governors, mayors and state and municipal legislators, a vanguard willing to attend to the greatest and smallest needs of the people, that is, as Chávez taught us, accompanying the People in their daily lives, in their pain, in their problems. It is a matter, I insist, of governing by obeying the People.

Long live the People’s Power!

Commune or Nothing!
